1.What is the Cold War?
I think "cold war" means the war which is not real war, but the countries fight against each other though economy or technology.

2. What makes the Cold War "cold"?
There are no weapons, but no one knows when the real war bigin so all the countries in the world become nervous. Just like U.S. and Soviet Union. They didn't fight but the countries around them had many wars.

3. Imagine that you lived in China during the Cold War, how do you think your life might have been affected by it?
If I lived in Chine during the Cold war, I think my life will be hopeless. Everybody is nervous to live everyday, and we will miss many interesting and happy things.

4. Why do you think the Cold War is so important in modern history?
Because it was the only one that is not real war, and people learned that not only war is bad but also cold war is bad too. Peace is so important!!

5. Any other thoughts about the Cold War?
I think war is very bad. There is nothing good for anyone. But I think cold war is bad too. Because U.S. and Soviet Union involved many countries in Europe.

(A2)Because there wasn't a direct war between U.S and Soviet Union, they just try to increase their power.

The clod war happened between U.S. and Sovet Union, these two supperpower, in 1940s~1980s. We call that “cold war” because there wasn’t any direct war between U.S. and Sovet Union, they just make other countries have a war and make tons of unclear weapons.Uhm...maybe that’s a kind of balance power.(A1,A2)

Well, if I lived in China during the Cold War, I must worry about China’s sovereignty and security, because there were wars every where in the world.(A3)

That’s cause Sovet Union’s disappear, so that America became the only superpower in the world and make the base of today's international relations.(A4)

A1:In my opinion , Cold War is that two superpower (powerful states,like the US and the Soviet union )have a competition that without military conflict .
A2: During the Cold War ,both two states didn't have any Scientific debate ,Military communication
or work together , just like the warter in freezing days. Not exactly...
A3: If the Chinese government choose one side ,and the other side will become our enemy and I will be attacked may at any time .(Just guess.)
A4:Because it dissolution of the Soviet Union and it make the world become peace and most state to improve their economic, education, science.
