“Development and Polution”
Honorable Chair, Esteemed fellow delegates,
The delegation of Greece hopes that all of the countries in the world will be developed in the future. There are many developed countries and developing countries in the world now. However, there are many serious problems about pollutions that should be solved. Most of the developing countries and developed countries in the world have grave problems with pollution of cities and the earth. There are several kinds of pollution that make people live in unhealthy space. First, developed countries and developing countries have a great number of cars and factories that increase the amount of hazardous smoke. It has a lot of harmful gas for the earth called CO2, and it relates to the global warming which is a monumental problem for people as the result, and there are issues that the countries that increased the global warming are the developed countries and developing countries. It hurts and kills many people in the world every year. Also, many people in the world are having diseases and sickness because of the hazardous water from factories that destroys the fresh water. Therefore, Greece strongly urges that people and governments in countries should control the hazardous water and smoke that they create, try not to use transportations such as car. For example, countries can create more eco-cars that don’t use energy with hazardous smoke. When countries are trying to solve the issue, the developing countries will need to pay attention to the money that they need to use to decrease the pollution, Greece would ask people in other countries to have fund-raising campaigns.
