the delegation of DR Congo would like to give a speech about Development and Pollution.
DRC hope states to protect the environment as a primary.
As an underdeveloped country, the economic interests often takes priority.
But DR Congo think that have a good environment in order to have more resources;
reduction environmental pollution in order to have a better development is much more better than blind development.
DRC has the second largest rainforest in the world.
The forests of DRC have not been affected by human destruction until years of war.
But right now, these forests are coming under lots of pressure. There is the rainforest foundation UK at work in DRC.
The second largest cause of global warming is rainforest destruction,
saving rainforests is one of the quickest and cheapest ways to help stop climate change.
DRC want to get recognized by other delegates. Thankyou.
